The Jennifer Wilks Foundation was established to honor Jennifer and to raise funds for the charities that helped put a smile on her face during her battle with AML. We will be helping the children and their families while they fight their battle at the new Dell Children’s Hospital here in Austin. We will be bringing them special dinners at the hospital 3 times a month. There will also be a special dinner for Christmas as well as gifts for the kids and their siblings. Another great organization at the hospital is the Hungry Bunch Youth Group. The Hungry Bunch does special monthly activities with the kids and they have a special camp that they bring the kids to once a year. Jennifer loved the Hungry Bunch and we are proud to help support them. We will grant a wish through the Make A Wish Foundation for a child here in the Austin area. This will be our 3^rd year doing this. We will also help the Leukemia Lymphomas Society and the His Grace Foundation in 2008.

Mary and I just want to thank everyone that sponsored, played or volunteered at this year’s annual golf tournament. Because of you we raised $30,232!!!! We have already started helping the children. We granted Yazmine her Make-A-Wish (more details to come), we are the main sponsor for the Hungry Bunch at the Dells Children Hospital and because of you they are going to cancer camp and do there monthly activities (June 12 is the Six Flag trip). We are helping the other charities and will start the meals soon. Again THANKS for putting a smile on a lot of kids faces.
